Throughout the year, the SDPOA actively works to establish and maintain positive relationships with elected officials at the local, state and federal levels of government. These relationships are vitally important due to the fact that elected officials are in a place of authority to establish policy, control budgets and create legislation. In an effort to represent the best interests of our membership, the PAC remains focused on educating elected officials on crucial issues that can come to have a direct and lasting effect on our members who are on the front line serving and protecting America’s eighth-largest city.
