Jeremy Huff came to the San Diego Police Department in 2012 after 10 years of working as a state police officer for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and as a deputy for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department in Tucson, Arizona.
Jeremy started his career in Northwestern Patrol, then Northern Patrol. This is where he utilized his training as a licensed yacht and dive boat captain along with his training in waterborne law enforcement on the Department’s Harbor Unit for three years.
Jeremy moved to Northern’s Quality of Life Team, then Central’s Quality of Life Team, and was a member of the newly founded Neighborhood Policing Division. He was also a part of the Department’s Bravo Team for five years.
In 2021, Jeremy was selected for Traffic Division’s Motor Unit and worked as a motor officer until June 2022. He was promoted to sergeant in June 2022 and currently works in Western Division.
